We are the Denver Metro Tenants Union, an organization led by tenants, fighting for our rights across the Denver Metro Area.

1. Collective power: As a member of DMTU, you will have the opportunity to join forces with other tenants in our city to organize for policies that protect and advance our rights. By joining together, we build enough tenant power to win structural changes with real, material impacts on our lives.

2. Community building: In addition to the tangible benefits of membership, DMTU is also a vibrant and supportive community, a multiracial, multigenerational movement rooted in care for each other and our knowledge that our fates are intertwined.

3. Education and training: As a member of DMTU, you will have access to education and training resources to equip you with an understanding of your rights as a tenant and with organizing methods and practices. We offer workshops on topics such as knowing your rights as a renter, tenant organizing, and can make introductions to legal aid clinics.

4. Policy: Finally, by joining DMTU, you will have the opportunity to organize in campaigns that aim to advance tenants' rights and create more equitable housing policies in our city. We work with allied community organizations and elected officials to fight for change at the local, and state levels.
